If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is it! We stayed to attend our daughter's graduation from LU. We were thankful to be about 25 or 30 min away from all of the traffic on a busy weekend in Lynchburg. We stayed 3 nights. The owner was very responsive and gave us helpful info about the area. Our dogs were welcome. There was plenty of space to walk them on-site. We went exploring at Otter Creek Waterfalls, which is on the BR Parkway, only 10 or so min away. We went walking on a footbridge over the James River. That was about 10 min away. The mountain views are beautiful. There are lots of nice restaurants within 15 min. We went to Flemings Mountain Grill. We had steaks, salad bar, etc. The food was really good, and the service was incredible! We also got take-out from a gas station...H&H! Great burgers and fries! We enjoyed our stay, slept well, and hope to return to do some fishing! *Bird enthusiasts, this place is for you! Verizon worked well! Book it! You won't regret it!

The cabin was everything we could have hoped for. Very clean, very close to the blue ridge, peaceful, great shower, stocked kitchen. Our dog felt right at home and we had a good time
