Right on the Cumbrian Way and a lovely place to stay. Recommend the gentle walk to Elter Water lake and lunch at the Britannia Inn. Go on a sunny day and you'll never want to leave! Thanks for a great stay and looking forward to coming back.

Excellent location for exploring Lakes. Very nice setting with big potential. Be aware the kitchen area is very small and difficult to house a dog in this space especially if cooking. Bedrooms are generous size and shower facilities good. Mattresses and furniture would benefit from upgrade, not particularly comfortable. Everything is clean and functional but with some improvements would be 5 Stars. WiFi/Internet only acceptable if outside near main farm building. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would have been more difficult with poor weather

The location is beautiful, the house was clean and tidy! David and Liz responded to my messages quickly. There's also an honesty café on-site with croissants, cakes, coffe, etc. Overall a great place for a peaceful break!
