This is one of the most popular areas of Las Terrenas, with glorious sandy beaches and many restaurants and bars just steps away.

Moto conchos (motorbike taxis) can be taken into and around town and picked up outside the residence or at various locations throughout town.

Local transportation to the next villages is the guagua which can be a minivan or a pickup. They stop along the way whenever someone wants to get on or off. They are running about every 30 minutes and on daytime only! The price depends on the distance ( 50 -150 pesos per Person). To El Limon they start in front of the disco La Bodega ( Casa Linda). To Sanchez they start next to the Multiusocomplex( la cancha) on the main street.
There is a longer distance bus service, see times at the main bus stop: Las Terrenas - Santo Domingo (Capital) - Price 500 RD$ Departures : 5am - 7am - 9am - 11am - 2pm - 3:30pm. Duration 2 horas y 15 minutos. Las Terrenas - Santiago Departures : 6am - 8:15am - 12:40pm Las Terrenas - Puerto Plata (Sosua / Cabarete) Departures : 6:30am The main bus stop is at on the Boulevard at the top of town and if you arrive into here you would book a Taxi to your accommodation or a moto concho.
The closest airport is El Catey (AZS), just 25 minutes from Las Terrenas with flights regularly from Canada & some European destinations. For most the closest airport is Santo Domingo (SDQ) which is 2 hours from Las Terrenas in a Taxi or Hire Car. Punta Cana is 4 to 5 hours drive, Puerto Plata is 3.5 hours. You can hire a car and drive from any arrival airport, we can provide directions.
