A great space for a getaway while also close to the Downtown Asheville scene! Lots of hiking trails near by and great outdoor activities. Older home with great charm and a homey feel!
Nice little home with a private backyard, very convenient to the highway and getting to downtown Asheville. There is a nice coffee shop at the complex across the street right on the river. Home has all the amenities you need, comfortable beds, and is very dog friendly. Getting into the driveway can be a bit of a challenge as it is a little steep, we were backing in most times because the visibility when pulling out was difficult as well. The road has a decent number of large trucks traveling on it so that can be noisy also.

Very cozy home with all you might need for a simple stay outside of town. The kitchen and bathroom are particularly well appointed to allow you to leave some of the basics (spices, oil, condiments, soap, shampoo, towels) at home. We really appreciated that our dog was welcome to tag along, and it was nice to be able to walk to the river around the way with her. The road is surprisingly busy, but the noise didn't particularly bother us. The outside space could use some love, but there wasn't anything that would prevent us from coming back. Getting a carbon monoxide detector seems like an easy fix, instead of recommending that each guest bring a portable one.
As advertised. The place has the character of a 20's bungalow. F. Scott Fitzgerald porbably would not have lived there, but would have clearly recognized it.

Hello and thank you for checking out my profile! I'm a superhost from Asheville, NC who enjoys to travel, hike, ski, and love on my two pugs. An original Floridian, I traded the beach for the mountains back in 2008. I've visited western North Carolina all of my life and finally decided to call Asheville home after graduating from Florida State University. I moved here knowing one person and had no job lined up, but it was the best decision I've ever made. Since then, I've had the opportunity to buy my first house in West Asheville, achieve my MBA from Western Carolina University, and work for the Biltmore Estate for over a decade! I am honored to have the opportunity to share my love of Asheville with others as they visit this magical town- some come over and over again while others are experiencing it for the very first time. Whether you're here to explore these majestic mountains, attend a special event, hike the Appalachian Trail, visit the Biltmore Estate, or float down the French Broad River, I am thrilled to host you during your time here!
