One of the best places I’ve stayed on Airbnb! The pics don’t do the view justice - the view and the surroundings are gorgeous. If you are in need of restoration, this is place to do it, the area is incredibly peaceful. The cabin is warm and cozy while feeling spacious due to the large windows. I had a fire every night with the provided fire wood and spent many hours reading on the porch. And in 20 years when the next eclipse comes through - there just isn’t a better viewing spot than the Parthenon cabin! I can’t say enough good things about the space, if you are considering booking, just do it!

This is the most peaceful and quiet place! The views are breathtaking! The cabin is exactly as described and was very clean and comfortable. We loved our stay! Definitely recommend!

Nice cozy property to stay for a few days for small family. Tabby was so responsive and always got questions answered. Neighborhood is nice if you are looking for a quiet place. Many places to explore nearby.

The views from the living room and deck are spectacular. I loved having hiking trails right out the door. The wood burning stove kept us cozy. We brought “heat & eat” meals and were surprised there was no oven. We used the wonderful outdoor Weber gas grill as an oven and it worked out, but cooking outdoors in December was chilly. One wine glass - that was a little unusual. Very few pieces of silverware, so we washed dishes as soon as we used them. Nothing wrong with that, but it was unusual. The Wi-Fi was out the first two days, and when the water went dry the second night and we had to drive to Jasper to get a call out, I realized how scary it would be in case of emergency: no phone service at all, couldn’t even text. Local caretaker was having a baby, literally, so getting help was a challenge. Once we reached the owner, he was on it, got issues fixed right away, made sure all was good. He was most helpful once we reached him. The location was gorgeous - and that smooths all else
