Lovely little cottage in Chapel Stile, we went for our mini moon with our Labrador and it was absolutely perfect. Walking distance to a pub, restaurant, cafe and local shop. Also great walking routes which basically start from the front door. Really cosy cottage.

Lovely little place in a quiet location but still not too remote. Very clean and well equipped and Rebecca’s communication was very thorough. My fault for not realising there wasn’t parking but she was able to advise on where to park. Bathroom was very clean but could do with some work on the drains as there isn’t great ventilation. But we were very happy with our few days in the Piggery. Thank you

This was our second stay at The Piggery and we couldn’t fault it. A lovely modern home in the most peaceful location but with some great pubs in walking distance. Perfect spot if you have a dog!

A beautiful place to stay in the Lake District! Perfect location for exploring the area’s landscape and towns. We used it as a base for climbing Scafell Pike - the start of the Seathwaite route is about 45 minutes away. Becca is a lovely host and was really helpful with answering any questions we had about the property. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We loved our stay at The Piggery. It was just perfect and we had everything we needed. The surroundings are beautiful and we loved the local pub and shop.
