Lovely home. Had everything we needed to be comfortable and relaxed for our holiday. Loved the book of previous guests!! AGA was a fantastic experience!!
Location, location, location! This place has it. Very private and rural. Even with the rain and wind we could enjoy the views from indoors. The house is cozy and spacious. The AGA stove did heat things up a bit, but all the windows have vents, so situation corrected easily. A short drive away provided necessary groceries and supplies, there were even a couple restaurants open in this off season time.
Very warm and cosy cottage. The breathtaking Sea view is well worth the effort. It’s a heaven place on earth! Olivia gave very detailed instructions and advice for the stay. We have enjoyed the spacious abode. My first experience with the AGA cooker and It’s awesome. Highly recommend when visiting Skye. Olivia, thank you for hosting us!

Sights and Must-Do's Nearby :
Neist Point;
One of the most famous lighthouses in Scotland situated on the western most point of Skye. It is an easy and scenic drive from the cottage. Once there you can enthral in the magnificently high cliffs, and the lighthouse itself. The walk is a short and straightforward one, with a well demarcated path and accessible parking, so you can enjoy it without being an expert hiker. This location attracts landscape photographers and artists alike, who love capturing its spectacular backdrop- especially at sunset. There are many art galleries and painters who have captured it's beauty so well.
Coral Beach;
A great family walk, just north of Dunvegan. The beach is made from crushed white coral like seaweed that makes the water look tropical blue when the sun comes out. A truly magical place! Perfect for a family picnic, a dog walk, or maybe even a swim.
The Fairy Pools;
Located at Glenbrittle on the Isle of Skye. The Fairy Pools are beautiful rock pools of crystal clear spring water, that light up blue and green in the sun, fed by a series of waterfalls from the Cuillin Mountains. You will often find brave travellers taking a refreshing dip in Fairy Pools.
There are many more Must Do's: including Dunvegan Castle, Sea Tours, Glen Brittle, Old Man of Storr
