I thought I'd already left a review. I needed a cheap place to rest & sleep for one night. Lava Flow worked just fine. Instructions for my bed location were a bit unclear ... it took the "unidentified host" 5 minutes on a cell app, to confirm whether I was assigned to the bunkhouse "out-back / in the dark" or a room in the front house. But we sorted it out. The rules and expectations for guests include starting a washing machine full of your bedding/linens on the morning you leave + hanging up (outside) anything you found IN the washer. Okay, but I found a HUGE load of someone else's clothing in the washer, and did not have the time nor inclination to hang it all up.... outside, in the dark, on the morning I left. I tried to follow the rules... but that process failed. Sorry. Multiple cats, in house, and on your bed at night (if the door isn't latched tight). No big deal, unless you have allergies. All in all.... I got what I needed at Lava Flow: A shower & sleep.

Had a great stay. Good location if you’re checking out El Malpais/El Morro, or just need a place to stop between Albuquerque and Flagstaff.
