No toilet rolls on arrival and it took 48hrs to get a reply. Air bnb clearly states that host will reply within 1hr which is unhelpful. In this case an alternative number should be clearly listed on air bnb. Air bnb also took 36hrs to respond. Otherwise a lovely stay, loved the location, hot tub. The lodge is cosy, comfy, warm and well insulated. A basket with a couple of teabags, coffee sachets and a dishwasher tablet would be a nice touch.

Had a fabulous week at Percy wood. Accommodation was exactly as pictured and described. The lodge was modern and had everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was a lovely addition and was clean and very relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

thought the place looked lovely when first arrived after a long drive. tv didn't work there were no batteries in the remote. was told to go back out to the a1 to find a shop or wait til the next day until maintenance would bring some. tried to plug my fire stick into the tv and someone had removed all the hdmi sockets. when reported this they were very reluctant to replace the tv. damp smell in the main bathroom. the couch was really uncomfortable but we discovered on the last night it was a pull out sofa bed. the frying pan was put away dirty. the beds had really old mattresses with 2 toppers on but I felt hard. was told the neighbours owned there lodge and they hated tourist's. the people in the lodge at the other side screamed at a poor old man walking his dog screaming don't let ur dog shit there. the dog was on a lead! the hot tub has no privacy and the first 2 nights didn't heat up was chilly sitting in it. sofa and chairs had stains covered with throws to hide them

Loved the location. Golf added bonus.Hot tub great size and daily serviced. Lodge great size. Few minor negatives not enough dishes, only 2 teas spoons. Mattresses on beds very soft-not good quality. Not quite as clean as I would have hoped for. Had a wipe over fridge oven and worktops and kitchen floor was sticky. So maybe a fast cleans with quick turns at fault. Bedding and towels lovely and white and clean. Would book again

Wendy was so helpful prior to check in helping us with organising a travel cot to be there for us. Brilliant communication and extra special touches with some treats on arrival. The lodge was lovely and just as described. A really lovely stay for the week with a good location to see lots of things around Northumberland. We would definitely come back! Thank you!
