The place is serene and peaceful. No noise from road or neighborhood. Beautiful garden. Very quiet at night. Close to stores, at the same time away from commotion of the city. Owner always answered our questions effectively and is very nice person. Everything is functioning and clean. Very rare I could give the place the perfect score, but that one deserves it 100%

I strongly recommend Hope's place. The view is breathtaking. The place very clean, comfortable, quiet, and peaceful. Hope was extremely helpful and kind. We especially enjoyed the garden with the view and the hammock. Overall, our stay there exceeded our expectations.

This easy to get to and absolutely gorgeous home was the best possible place we could be upon first arriving to Nicaragua with 2 kids. Hope was such a kind and generous host, we really enjoyed talking with her and learning as much as we could from her. The space was clean, quiet, beautiful, and had all the amenities we could ask for. We loved the layout, the bedrooms, kitchen and the gardens outside. Highest recommendations for Casa Guayacan if you would like to be near San Juan Del Sur, but also enjoy peace and tranquility.

This is a beautiful destination, with a garden view and a hammock to swing and enjoy. The Casa has everything you need for long stays including a kitchen, seating area, AC in room and Wifi. Bring your own food and you’re well on your way. Our concern and perhaps these are first world problems, were the amount of bugs in the kitchen after 6pm. Often times, when making dinner the bugs would invade and make cooking & eating uncomfortable, even with the curtains down. After our host arrived, she gave us a bug light which helped greatly. Hope was a kind host who was informative, communicated well and was helpful. She let us do our own thing with very little interference. Before our stay ended she invited us to dinner! If you have transportation it’s a quick 5 minute ride into town unless biking or walking is your thing which can take up to 45 minutes by foot. San Juan Del Sur is a nice surf town with friendly locals. There’s a natural market selling vegan goods we enjoyed and quite a few places to socialize and have a cocktail. People will remember you the more you go and say hi like they have known you forever. The town is within a few kilometers of great surf like Playa Remanso known as an intermediate beach. Beware the stingrays at cold temperatures they will get you if you happen to step on one. I suggest a slide shuffle in the sand for your wellbeing! A zipline adventure park provides fun with local tour guides who make you feel safe and welcomed. You’ll see sleeping sloths and other wild life while your adrenaline pumps! Overall, this is a wonderful stay.

Hope is a fabulous host and her home is a beautiful, re-energizing, and quiet oasis - yet minutes from town and all of San Juan del Sur's great beaches. A world traveler herself, she enjoys people of all cultures and origens and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. Her home is spectacular and the private guest floor is well-appointed, spacious, and squeaky clean. Hope is a great cook and gardener and is more than willing to offer tips and maybe even a taste. The views of the countryside and the sunsets are stunning. We loved our stay and consider Hope a friend now as well as a great host. Highly recommended!
