All Airbnb’s are not alike. We’re more of a destination Cottage , if you love nature, want to relax, this is it! I Honey Creek is just off the deck with opportunities to see ducks, mink, herons, bald eagles and deer. The scenery changes with the season! We are 1 mile from the quaint town of Reedsville, restaurants , shops and a unique Amish community. Beautiful gardens add to the charm….flower beds show off the late summer and fall plantings along with the peace and tranquility of Honey Creek! We are located close to the village of Reedsville. Several state parks are also close by. Views from the porches and covered outdoor areas always offer a surprise. There is seating for outdoor eating, a fire pit and gas grill for your convenience. We also have a charging station for electric cars you are welcome to use during your visit. The picnic area has a table and shelving to place a crockpot or other cooking supplies. Inside the Cottage there is a bath, a full kitchen with all the utensils you will need to cook indoors or on either grill, a living room with queen sofa bed, and a dining room, and upstairs you will find a bedroom with queen bed and sitting area, a full bath and a small deck to enjoy your morning coffee or a late evening glass of wine!

Was a beautiful place to get ready for a wedding and get some pictures! The landscape is gorgeous. A very peaceful location!
This is a stunning find. The river is peaceful, the wildlife is stunning (we had baby ducks entertaining us) and the bird watching is mesmerizing. This place a nurtured and cared for. The inside is so cozy with many plush seatings and viewing areas. There is no detail left untouched. It was restorative for us - and that with the cold and rain. Can't imagine in the sunshine. Thank you - we'll be back!
We had a wonderful weekend at The Cottage! We were in the area for a concert at Beaver Stadium and the location was perfect. From the moment we stepped inside we were pulled in my the charm of the cottage. There are so many spaces in the home to relax and enjoy the beauty around you! We were welcomed by a mama duck and her ducklings, which was a special treat! We look forward to another visit to this charming place tucked inside of a quaint town!
Such a beautiful, relaxing stay! Loved this place from the inside out. Perfect location right along the creek, and could sit outside on the back porch, deck, or picnic area to enjoy the birds and the water. Such a homey place on the inside; loved all the antique decor, the little reading nook upstairs, and the full kitchen that we used when not trying the local restaurants. Would love to stay again!
We loved the cottage! They have tended to every detail to ensure guests have a wonderful stay. Teri was in touch and available if needed - although all our needs were met. The cottage is inviting, cozy and warm, and it was a perfect setting for our quiet New Year's Eve. The gas fireplace (looks like an old wood-burning stove) added a nice touch. Bed was comfy - plenty of towels in the spotless bathrooms. Kitchen is well-stocked and the homemade fruit tarts were appreciated! We took advantage of the notebook with info about the area and enjoyed a couple of recommended hikes. The ducks in Honey Creek and all the birds visiting the feeders added entertainment, and we enjoyed hearing an occasional Amish buggy pass by. Thank you for a great stay.

We are grateful to share our Cottage with you and invite you to enjoy the rural community that surrounds us. There are many local parks, antique shops and eateries to enjoy. Being in the heart of the Amish community, we get to enjoy their unique culture and fresh baked goods and woodworking craftsmanship. The Belleville and Allensville areas both offer museums to explore and learn about the local culture. Please remember they travel by horse and buggy ... be careful when driving and courteous of their culture. We are also just 25 minutes from State College and all it has to offer.
For your information we do have WiFi, smart tv’s, a smart thermostat, a smart lock system but no cameras on the property.
There is onsite parking and a charging station for guests EVs
