A lovely, quiet cottage in stunning scenery. lovely circular walks to Vindolanda, Housesteads etc from the cottage (4-10 miles dependant on your choices), or a short drive and shorter walk. Haltwhistle is 4-5 mins drive for takeaways, pubs, cafes and supermarket. The cottage had everything we needed (really useful airing cupboard!), and a lovely picture patio door to walk out onto a small seating area for a morning brew in the garden. The kitchen is plenty big enough to cook a proper meal or just reheat a takeaway. The whole cottage was simple, cosy, and very relaxing. a lovely place to be. A torch is really useful for last minute late night dog visits to the meadow. Check in was very easy, we found the cottage really easily, and Charlotte was very helpful and quick to respond when we knew we would arrive late. Dog meadow a great start to the day for both dog and dogboss. We'd love to come back and explore more, and would love to come straight back to the cottage to do so.

Loved the set up of the place. Uninterrupted views with a lovely patio area. Garden in front and dog meadow absolutely ideal for the dog. So handy for walks and museums. Lovely to have the lounge and kitchen separate. Fantastic stay, thankyou

Stunning views across open fields. Very close to Hadrian's wall. The dog meadow was an exceptionally good way of quickly exercising our dog prior to going out in the car.

Great location and superb views from the cottage. Easy access to lovely walks and local pubs. Clean and well stocked kitchen. Lovely place to chill in evening after a long walk. Would definitely recommend if in the area.

A wonderful place to stay and explore Hadrian's Wall. The cottage had everything we needed, in a beautiful location with great views. Our dog especially enjoyed the meadow to run around in!
