Despite a late check-in Mike was there as soon as we arrived to great us and had the woodburner fire lit which was really nice and welcoming. Whilst the cottage is petite it is comfortable and well equipped and in a lovely location that is peaceful and just far enough off the beaten track to be away from it all, yet only 15 minutes to the coast at Seaton. Some lovely coastal walks along the spectacular cliffs and the local woods just up the lane were full of spring flowers and birdsong. What's not to like!

We had a wonderful short break at Mike's place Holyford Farm. The surroundings around the farm are stunningly beautiful, the accomodation was ideal for the 2 of us and the dog. A great location for walking and also a short drive to Seaton, Beer, Branscombe etc.. Mike was such a great host, he gave us lots of information and was always there if needed. I would definitely recommend Holyford Farm cottage. 5 Star!!

We had a lovely time at Mike’s cottage. It felt homely and had everything we needed. We highly recommend staying here if you want a country escape.

Lovely cottage, in quaint area with lots of great hikes and natural surroundings within walking distance. Mike was very accommodating and welcoming, would highly recommend :)
