Very clean and well appointed cottage. Lots of extra touches like coffee pods, bottled water and a s’mores kit with fire starters for the fire pit were very appreciated even though the weather didn’t allow a fire pit during my stay. I also enjoyed the fall lake view. I look forward to booking again soon.

This airbnb was very beautiful, a little bit out of the way if you are looking to go into Salem but honestly worth it for the price. We were able to drive into Salem in about 25 minutes (on a busy holiday weekend) definitely would recommend over hotels in town w heavy fees for stays and parking. The house was beautiful w a remodeled kitchen, nice bathroom, sizable bedrooms, and a great view! Personally my favorite was the couch, it was so comfortable I feel asleep there multiple nights. Definitely would recommend a stay with Marla!

We had a lovely peaceful stay in the woods of Essex. Everything was exactly as described, the location was convenient and easy to find, and the house was SPOTLESS. We enjoyed the fire pit and the s’mores. We’d love to stay here again if we’re ever again in the area.

Marla was an excellent and responsive host. The place was very peaceful in nature and the description and pictures are very accurate. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
