Candace’s place was very clean and comfortable with all amenities needed for a week away. The beautiful yard has an amazing ocean view and is the perfect place to enjoy Candace’s delicious breakfast goodies in the sun. We absolutely loved our stay here and would certainly go back!

Candace's unit is outstanding! It is squeaky-clean, and has everything you need for your stay. It is in a quiet peaceful area that is wonderful for walking by the water. Candace's warm welcome made us, and our dogs feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Sitting in the lawn chairs with Candace's warm scones, and a cup of hot coffee, absorbing the wonderful water view is a terrific way to start your day. Her cookies when we left were a wonderful treat that we enjoyed on the ferry. It is easy to see why she gets such wonderful reviews. She sets a very high bar for other hosts. We feel the highest praise we can give is, we booked our next stay in Candace's unit the second day we were there. We knew we wanted to come back. Though we are from Washington, this will be our go to get-away and we look forward to many more stays in Candace's unit.

Our quick, 2 day stay here was ridiculously pleasant and stress free. Candace is that rare host who provides small “essentials” that go a long way to make guests immediately comfortable in a temporary home. Communication is clear and friendly, she is available when/ if needed and invisible when not. The confirmation warned us this was “sweet and simple and not a luxury B&B.” On the contrary, it was spacious, bright, sparklingly clean without being sterile, more enjoyable than some higher end places & more luxurious than some apartments I've occupied. Easy parking, books & games, fluffy towels, tissues, shampoo, body wash, local coffee & beans to grind were all provided. Baked goods appeared at our door (best scones I’ve ever had!), friendly dogs on the upper deck and a great view of the sunrise made for a wonderful but too short stay. Just about every question during our stay was answered by clearly written notes (with a touch of whimsy) posted around the suite. Great experience!
