The Southern Mansion was great. It was nice just walking through it and looking at the paintings. We hung out in the widow’s tower at night. Our room was very private and it felt like we were the only ones in the mansion at times. Breakfast was very good and the servers are super friendly. Christy checked us in and we saw her throughout our stay. She very helpful. We will definitely go back.

A lovely, super comfortable, stylish, and authentic mansion with the comforts of home and more. Excellent, walkable location to everything, including restaurants, the beach, sites, etc. would definitely stay there again!

I liked everything about our stay except the quality of the breakfast. The Southern Mansion is absolutely beautiful with exquisite flower gardens along the property, super clean and comfortable beds and showers. Very convenient location near everything. I was bothered that there was no drinking water provided throughout the day and no afternoon tea. I've stayed at many bed and breakfast places in the area where the accommodations were not as superior as , the food was much better and afternoon tea and water was provided throughout the day. Also, I did not know that I would hit with a NJ resort tax an additional 170.00 for a 3 night stay in addition to the Abnb fee of 160.00. Booking direct is the best option to avoid the extra charge.
