Great location. Large house. Unfortunately the house was not cleaned properly before arrival. Hair on floor, hair in bathroom etc. Lots of cobwebs everywhere. Dirty bbq. Bins filled with rubbish which we had to dispose of. Half a roll of toilet paper left for our group of 12. One hand towel available to share between 2 toilets. Broken fan which was badly needed upstairs as too hot to sleep. 10 bath towels for 12 people. Took bachcare 3 days to provide additional towels. Overall very unimpressed with the state of the house and will not be staying there again. We paid a premium for the property and basic standards were not met.

PROS: Great value for money. Exactly what we were looking for in a bach. Had all the essentials. Slept 11 quite comfortably. We were able to put all of the kids in one room. Close to the main shops. CONS: The outdoor patio area is not fully waterproof. We were there on a rainy weekend, so this area was missed. The BBQ in the photos doesn't work. Only two burners work, and only on very low. There was a random dog that turned up on our doorstep on Friday night and stayed there until Sunday morning. Very friendly dog, but we were a bit worried. We didn't know if the dog was lost or what to do. We assume the dog went home after it's weekend away with us.

Property was as pictured and described. Very handy to cafes and supermarket. Easy flat walk to the beach. Being July the house was cold but we really appreciated that heaters and electric blankets were provided in each room. Great indoor and outdoor spaces to relax. Loved the hot outdoor shower. Great that linen and towels provided. A few things to note: It is very difficult to find the house at night as there are no letterboxes or street lights and house numbers are located back from the street. There is no WIFI (the listing does state this). You need to message the host for check in details. I did this several days before our stay and they never replied. I had to phone on the day, the person was friendly and quickly sorted it out for us. There were some kitchen supplies but no oil or dishwasher tablets and not much toilet paper. Luckily the supermarket is so close. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.
