Great stay with the family! Easy location to get in and out and conveniently located in between Sylva and Waynesville for a quick trip to either location. Great hiking and activities in the area for fun with little ones taking them to the parks, Jackson County library, bike paths etc. Heads up if you're looking for hiking and visiting during the winter that the access to the Blue Ridge Parkway right by the house was closed the entirety of our stay. The location was clean (also easy to keep clean), had all the necessary amenities, and had a nice open floor plan for being a 2 bed / 1 bath. Thanks for the stay and would love to see the area in the summer months with a lot of falls and rafting close by.

We rented Electa’s place while we were moving our daughter into her new apartment so we weren’t there for vacation but it would be a great place to stay for vacation or a short term rental. It is super close to Waynesville and Sylva and the BRP. It’s right off 19/23 so you get a bit of noise from the main road if you’re outside but it’s not a big deal and you don’t hear it at all inside. The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed for cooking. The only thing to consider is the listing says queen beds but they’re actually full size in the bedrooms, the sleeper sofa is a queen though. The place is decorated nicely and is very cozy. Electa was very responsive and quick to answer my questions before we rented. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Electa’s place is central to several National Forests & Parks, as well as State and Rec. Parks. We were there for hiking. There are so many trails right off the Blue Ridge Parkway, which is literally a 5 minute (at most) drive from the rental. It is also just a quick trip to several small towns for groceries or to eat out. Although the main road and towns are not far from the rental, it is situated in a rural setting. The home was clean and comfortable. We had a great stay and look forward to staying again.

The cabin was great. Easy access to main roads. Electa was very accommodating. Nice stay.
