Very peaceful and fun stay! Joined a boys trip for my fiancé birthday and the downstairs play room was a lot of fun! Having the provided kayaks was a super plus as well! Very nice location and very quiet. Just wanted to add this location is on a very steep hill. Totally manageable for vehicles and walking but figured it was worth the mention. Only negatives: Be careful with the grill. Very dirty and ended up blowing up on my fiancé. We cleaned it the best we could so hopefully it won’t happen to anyone else! The front door is very finicky One of the sliding doors is hard to lock The down stairs toilet seems to have plumbing problems. The kitchen and bathrooms are fully stocked! Which was super nice. Overall a great stay and would recommend to anyone!

I really enjoyed this location. I appreciated that there was a bedroom on the top floor so my parents didn't have to depend of steps. I also appreciated the electric heaters down stairs. Due to my asthma, it is hard to enjoy the gas logs.

Lydia was super helpful and always responded to questions quickly. The view of the lake really is stunning. It’s conveniently located across the street from places to eat and close to grocery shopping. It would have been nice to have firewood to at least get started with the fire pit. The check in and check out instructions were very clear. We personally like a getaway where we can get away and relax - requiring sweeping and vacuuming of the house and washing and drying and putting away all the dishes was a little bit too much to ask. We always clean up after ourselves when we leave somewhere… Put the dishes in the dishwasher and run it sort of thing is very reasonable. The dart board wasn’t useable which was very disappointing and the space for the pool table was a little cramped - the stick hit the wall on one end. We would recommend this place for sure. Peaceful and beautiful.

We loved our stay at Lydia’s in January. It’s at a great location for restaurants, grocery, and less than 20 minutes from Skeleton 4-H center which is why we traveled to the area while our son was at a camp. We loved all the indoor activities as well as the fire pit in this cold weather!!

Lydia is such a great host! The Polaroid wall is such a great touch for the place. The kitchen had all the utensils needed to have an amazing staycation. She is super responsive and her instructions are so well thought out and written that checking in and out was a breeze. 10/10 ⭐️!
