Quaint little cottage on a farm. Very clean linens and towels. There was quite a bit of dust and debris on the floor, so the requirement to vacuum meant we left things a lot cleaner than we arrived. There were a lot of ants in the kitchen due to some sticky food left behind on the counter, which we also tried to clean up. Some insects were expected in a cottage but it wasn’t quite as tidy as we would expect. WiFi didn’t work at all- this wasn’t essential during our stay so we did not bother the host (possible that it could have been fixed easily). Check in process was a tiny bit confusing as we gave a time as requested so the host could greet us but we never saw them during our visit. Despite our confusion on whether or not we needed to touch base with the host, finding the hobbit house and getting in were quite easy.

My partner and I stayed over and had the most wonderful time! The Hobbit House was absolutely perfect for our needs, and even had hot water and wifi, which many similar tiny houses on Airbnb forgo. We felt absolutely spoiled. Even with the other airbnbs on property, our house still felt intimate and private. Also as an animal lover, I absolutely adored being able to see the peacocks and other farm animals right outside. Most importantly, our hosts were extremely attentive and helped make our experience an 11/10. Highly recommend and would love to return sometime in the warmer months to make use of the pond on property!

What a lovely, private, little cabin. There’s plenty to do, even in the snow. We got to see the cute farm animals and enjoyed the scenery. The drive to Ithaca is nice and enjoyed restaurants there. The space itself was clean, and just as described! Check out was easy and I can’t wait to stay again! The only disappointment was less hobbit decor 🤣

We had a wonderful and cozy stay on a rainy December weekend. It was warm and comfortable, and we found great things to do in the area.
