Giancarlo and Paola’s place was stunning. Great location, great amenities and great view. Most of all it was clear the hosts spent a lot of time and effort trying to give us the best experience possible and it is fair to say they achieved that. I would say they are the best hosts we’ve had in a BnB
This air bnb is amazing! They went out of their way to bring us to the station and tell us every recommendation they had ! Was extremely walkable to downtown varenna and was the perfect location in my opinion. Will recommend everyone to stay here and will be visiting very soon ahain
Awesome place to stay, Giancarlo’s hospitality is above and beyond the standard. Beautiful views. Only thing to keep in mind for people with mobility issues is that it is a 30-40min walk into Varenna. Perfect stay.
Giancarlo and Paola are very lovely people and they go above and beyond to welcome their guests. They met us at the apartment even when we arrived later than expected and they welcomed us, showed us around the place and had the refrigerator stocked with breakfast foods, snacks, wine and water. They had many recommendations in the area to see and responded quickly to any questions we had. Their place was very clean and we especially liked sitting out on the balcony with beautiful views of Lake Como. The apartment is a little outside of the town of Varenna but there is a nice trail, the Greenway dei Patriarchi, that you can get to right outside their place and it takes about 30 minutes to walk to the center of the town of Varenna and about 5 minutes to drive there. It is a beautiful walk in the morning with incredible views of the lake along the way. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is wanting to stay in Varenna.
Absolutely loved staying here! It was close to Varenna but out of the crowds of the city. Such a peaceful balcony with beautiful views of the lake. The place had everything we needed and Giancarlo and Paula were very welcoming and nice - they went above & beyond with their accommodations, responsiveness, and showing us what we’ll need around the city for our visit.
