Great spot, very private with amazing views. Only about 25 minutes to Asheville and 10 minutes to Black Mountain. The trip up from the gate takes about 5 minutes on a road with a few tight curves, but traffic was light during our stay and there are mirrors for all tricky spots.

This was genuinely one of the most hospitable Airbnb's i've ever stayed at. The host had everything in the house to make you feel like you didn't miss a beat leaving your own home. Gorgeous and great!

We gathered to celebrate my mom’s 80 bday over Easter weekend and had the most beautiful 70 degree weather but just cool enough to make use of the lovely deck fire pit. We could not have asked for a more perfect setting to bring two families together. I have never stayed in an Airbnb that was so magnificently stocked and with just about anything you need. Each room was a welcomed retreat and the views and outdoor setting were unmatched. The kitchen was over the top as far as dishes, cooking/serving ware and other essential supplies. I would add that the road getting to the property is completely manageable and nothing to stress about. Fully paved- with a few switchbacks. This setting is an ideal location, and we would highly recommend it. Thank you again!

We enjoyed a long weekend here. It's a beautiful location. Given the short time and the focus of our activity in downtown/West Asheville, probably a bit too remote. I'd recommend at least a week-long stay here, with a regional itinerary. A perfect place to start and end a jam-packed day. Great interior and exterior social spaces.

This is a great spot. I had reservations booking it with all the reviews about how difficult it was to get up the hill. Reviews were totally exaggerated. We didn't have any issues making it up the hill to the house. The road is paved, not crowded, and not nearly as steep as it was made out to be. I could see how it might be tougher in snow season, but if there's no snow, you shouldn't have any issues. It isn't a short drive to get to the market, so I recommend making a pit stop at Ingles before going up the hill so you're all set for your stay. House was fantastic. Great layout with lots of room to spread out. House was clean and had all the amenities needed including coffee for the morning in case you arrive too late to go to the market. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Loved the outdoor deck...and of course - the views! Giant windows to frame the beautiful view. This place is an A+ all around. We would absolutely return.
