Loved using the pedal boat and canoe. Wonderful fire pit. We had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped. And anything we needed, such as fire wood or water, was brought to us quickly. Linda and her husband were very friendly and accommodating. Our only negative observation was, it could have been cleaner.

Linda is a very kind and helpful host. The kitchen is well appointed and there are several extras, such as coffee and condiments. I am a light sleeper and the roosters woke me up at 5:30 on the first day, so had to sleep with the windows closed for the rest of the stay, which is not ideal when there is only a fan and no AC. The kayak and paddle boat were in great condition. However, the boathouse and dock are on a marsh with heavy vegetation and stagnant water, so after falling into the marsh while trying to board the kayak from the dock and spending 20 minutes hauling back the kayak filled with stagnant water on shore with difficulty, I stuck with the paddleboat.

This cabin above a boathouse is a hidden gem on AirBnB. You will be surrounded by nature at all times. Archie and Linda have a wonderful property and are super lovely hosts. We were at the cabin for a week, and felt we did not have enough time to take everything in. Strongly recommend, come here and get lost in the beauty of the birds all around, as you canoe/kayak/paddle into the beautiful lake, and along the ravine that flows right under the balcony of the cabin! Gorgoeus and peaceful.

This is a beautiful hidden jem. Nice open space. Everything needed if you like to cook. Nice and clean. Beautiful views and terrace. A real escape from reality. We loved it and would definitely recomend to anyone.

If you like nature, water, and being in a confortable place, this boat house 2nd floor is great. You will see turtles, heron, martins pêcheurs, sparrows, beavers, fishes ... I felt like looking the original scene from Monet’s painting « Les nénuphars » from the back balcony over the creek. Linda and her husband were kind and discreet. It was great to use their kayak, canoe or pedal boat to explore the creek and St-Laurence river. I went there by bike: shops, restaurants where close and the region is easy to explore.
