Die Insel ist wunderschön. Allerdings war die Organisation dort hin zu kommen ziemlich unklar. Außerdem ergeben sich durch die Hin und Rückfahrt, höhere Kosten als eine Nacht kostet.

The island is beautiful, with sandbeaches, light blue water and palm trees. Perfect for relaxing and getting away from society. The cabins are very simple, yet more than enough with a twin size bed and a mosquito net. The bathrooms are not great, which is stated in the discription and should be taken into considerarion when booking. In general the accomodation is exactly as described and perfect for enjoying some quiet time in paradize. The Gunas are very nice and welcoming. They live and work on the island, which makes the expericence extremely authentic. Jonathan seemed to be having an off week, with us not being able to reach him for 3 days. Before and after he was very kind and willing to help.

I messaged Jonathan the night before to ask: 1) If I could reserve the cabin for the next night; 2) If he could arrange for transport between my hotel and the island; and 3) If he could book a boat tour for me the day I arrive on the island. He was mega quick to respond and we got it all sorted out within a few hours. My stay on the island was unforgettable: stunning area with gorgeous beaches and crystal clear water! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Rogelio, who always helped me with times, organisation, and transfers, seeing as I decided to fully immerse myself in the experience and never used my phone. The stay was much more comfortable than I expected, seeing as the cabin was really cozy (surprisingly cool, even though it was sweltering outside), the bathrooms had flushable toilets with working showers, there were sinks with running water, and the food was good. All-in-all a magical experience and I highly recommend giving it a go.

El primer contacto con Rogelio Alfaro en el Puerto fue muy bueno, nos explico bien todo y nos acompaño por unos días en la Isla ya que organizaba todo, un Señor muy amable y activo. Gracias! La Isla era maravillosa, la Estancia muy Rudimentaria lo que viene siendo una cama, paredes de madera suelo de tablas y un Mosquitero pero es una cosa que se sabe al reservar el Viaje. No vayan esperando tener Lujo. La gente Cuna de la Isla son mas bien introvertidos hacia Extranjeros, con el Tiempo se vuelven un poquito mas extrovertidos y resultan ser muy Respetuosos y amables. La Ducha y el Baño son compartidos y un poquito Desastrosos a nivel Europeo pero funcionales. No hay cobertura para la mayoría de redes excepto Tigo y Digicel. De Comida sirven Pescado o Pollo a elegir lo cual se vuelve muy monótono al estar varios días sobre la isla. En general sabíamos a lo que íbamos y nos gusto mucho gracias también a Enzo y Jorge, grandes personajes! Alina y Javier
