2nd time visiting Thomas, WV. Absolutely love the town. Traveling from Balt. County Maryland to see a favorite artist of ours perform a 2 night sold out show at the Purple Fiddle (Keller Williams!!). We had an absolute blast and the location of the home was PERFECT. a 7 minute walk! The home had everything we needed for our 3 day stay, including a fully equipped kitchen!! It can be tricky when traveling but everything we needed was there, and more. the rooms are not SUPER private one of the rooms is kinda in the "hallway". While this was OK for us as we had 2 couples, just keep that in mind as it does state "3 bedrooms". Another huge plus is that pets are allowed. This made for a super easy travel for us as we were able to bring our dog with us and check out some gorgeous views and easy hikes with her :) 10/10 would visit again and stay here, very comfortable and homey vibe. you will not be dissapointed. lots of room for activities! (;

We enjoyed our stay in Thomas with our two young children and dog for a weekend winter getaway. The Mountain Chalet was a good central location within close distance to the state parks and activities.
