The views from the sunroom were unbeatable. We sat out there every morning and evening to enjoy the views. The inside had plenty of room for lounging and eating and everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking. Multiple coffee pot options, tons of fans for warmer evenings. A few very minor things could be updated, but there purely cosmetic. We stayed here for the view and east access to things to do more than anything. It was about 20-30 minutes to most things in St John’s and the upper peninsula.

We had a wonderful stay at the Johnson Cottage. Very cabin-like feel, but all amenities were present. Place was clean and cosy when we arrived. We loved that it was so close to a grocery store and other conveniences (Dominion grocery store was a 2 minute walk away). Loved the view of the ocean and being able to watch the sailing club members practice sailing their boats in the harbour. Overall, it was the perfect spot for our holiday.

Great location. Nice and quiet place. Love that it had a washer and dryer. Would love to stay there again next year. Moya and Paul were very accommodating.

We were so cozy in this cottage. And the view was amazing. Enjoyed our wine in front of a real wood fire. A few interior upgrades would really make this cottage a high-end place to stay! Moya is the sweetest lady! Very accommodating. I’d recommend to friends and family for sure after a few interior upgrades were completed. Thank You Moya. Wishing you the very best.
