My daughter came into connecticut for a visit for an unexpected visit from the western mountains of Pennsylvania. I decided to suprise her with a change for her senses. I spotted this hidden gem of a place and I can not put down in words how much this place provided for some rejuvinating. This home was perfect for us to spend quality time together in such a peacful atmosphere that was a big breath of fresh air. I only stayed for a short weekend and I can see myself going to this place in my mind until I can find the opportunity to revisit this beautiful spot. Heather's place is a lovely, clean, bright space in a terrific location – it's just steps to the shell-strewn sandy beach, and it's also easy to get to the grocery store, farm stands, parks and New Haven, so there's something for everyone. If you're looking for silence, know that it's in the flight path of the local airport, though there aren't that many flights per day, and that the beach club next door is considerate of noise levels, though there is sometimes live music. The house itself is comfortable with an unusually well equipped kitchen. The outdoor shower is a fantastic touch, and Heather is terrific, super communicative and friendly. Highly recommend!
