Beautiful house in pristine location. This house has everything you’ll need for a great getaway. It is well maintained, cleaned and lovingly looked after. We had everything we needed, including a well appointed kitchen which we used a lot! Both bathrooms had plenty of shampoo, conditioner, soap, and even hand sanitizer. The shower right next to the beach is very convenient , as are both hoses strategically placed to clean the sand off after beach time. My only recommendation would be to get a new BBQ, the current one is a bit old and tattered. The food shopping service and daily fresh seafood delivery were excellent. We definitely plan on returning, as this place is unbeatable for true unwinding and relaxation.

Rainbow’s End is a truly magical place. Located on the norther part of the island and tucked into trees, there is a complete sense of privacy while still having one of the best views I have enjoyed in a long while. The house itself is impeccably clean well taken care of and the property management company was fantastic to work with. This is an absolutely adorable beach cottage with everything that you need for daily life. Nothing more nothing less and for my family, nothing could have been more perfect. They even delivered a “secret” Christmas tree so that we could surprise my niece who had never been away from home on Christmas. My only suggestion is that future guests really take the time to plan out your groceries. We brought a good load there and then had the delivery service restock us later in the week and it worked perfectly. North Captiva is like a vacation in another country. Remote and removed but not so much that you are uncomfortable as there are still tiki bars, a pool club and bacon. You can rent just about any beach toy you want from fishing rods to full boats, just don’t run out of wine or bug spray. The only store on the island is very expensive however when you really need something... it may just save the day.

Wonderful home right on the beach. Clean, comfortable and great location on the island. Watch the dolphins everyday swim by. Will definitely rent here again.

This property is an absolute gem! North Captiva is a one of a kind location and a must see. This property offers breath taking sunsets every night, an animal crossing (dolphins, manatees, turtles) right on your door step and a sky full of a billion stars at night. We literally ate breakfast and watched the manatees floating by the house and in the evening dolphins swam in packs just a few feet away! We were so so pleased! The house offers a wonderful deck which our pups absolutely loved napping on, the furniture was comfy and clean and we always had a wonderful ocean breeze out there. Inside the house it is perfect for a small family or couple, light, clean with all the essentials. We did lots of cooking at home and the kitchen had everything we needed, including some spices/coffee/aluminum foil and cooking sprays that was really really helpful. I would highly highly recommend make a grocery list and ordering through the property management before you arrive. This island is very remote with only one small store, fresh produce is not available. We bought some groceries with us which I am so glad we did as there was only one restaurant available during our stay so we cooked a lot. The charter to get to the island was very simple and we had help on loading and off loading all the luggage on either end. Definitely take the hosts advice and pack light, we lived in bathing suites the entire time! I would 100% come back with the family and highly recommend this adventure to anyone thinking about visiting! :)
