Quintessential Carmel cottage with everything one could need. Great location just a block off the main beach - perfect for sunset strolls - and a quick walk into town or to the Pelican beach. Lovely gardens surround the cottage with sandstone walls that assure privacy from folks exiting the beach. I enjoyed multiple outdoor spots for cocktails or midday breaks during my stay. The upper bedroom suite is perfect for guests with its own kitchen, etc. Great for two couples or two gal pals who want their own space at various times of the day. Can't wait to return.

This was our second stay this year at Buffs cottage! Just 2 blocks to the beach for a quick walk, day and night, beautiful! We enjoyed the warm fireplace inside and the beautiful garden outside:)

Buff’s home is perfect for a stay in Carmel. The location was great. It’s literally a 5-minute walk to the beach. Ocean Street is nearby with all the shops and restaurants but the neighborhood around the home is peaceful. Buff’s house is very clean and comfortable and has everything you could need. The garden’s are beautiful and the decor is cozy and charming. I️ would 100% recommend a stay here.

The cottage made our stay in Carmel by the sea very special! It’s so close to the beach, ( this was my main reason for the booking). We took daily walks to the beach and made many four legged friends🦮🐕‍🦺! We enjoyed the beautiful garden in the afternoons and the cozy fire inside at night. The village and cottage are overflowing with charm:)

I really enjoyed my stay at Buff’s Bird’s Nest! The unit was comfortable and calming, with beautiful views overlooking Buff’s gardens. Perfect location for me to walk to town, walk to the beach, drive to Point Lobos and Big Sur. I really appreciated all of the dining options that were within a couple of miles of the studio, plus additional options in nearby Pacific Grove and Monterrey. If you are looking for pristine quiet, I would advise that you check first with the host on the current status of construction projects in the area. There were moderate levels of drilling, sanding, and truck sounds in at least two of the neighboring homes on the weekdays during my October stay. Not too bothersome though, because it was blissfully quiet in the evenings, with the exception of the sounds of the ocean waves in the distance. Thanks again for a really nice stay!
