First of all the house is ON the street corner which is BUSY. It is hard to sleep in the house due to the noise. The house is split up to include a rented out apartment who's tenant hogs the decent side of the driveway. We had 4 cars with us and my car is a luxury car that was beat up on the driveway alone. The porch is part of the rented apartment and not for your use. Unbeknownst to us. This rental is really jacked up. The beds are awful, the house was filthy, the comforters were stained, the stove was gross, the microwave looked like it had been on fire, paint was peeling everywhere ( I hope it is not lead based), dishes were an issue luckily, I brought my own, trash cans were full on arrival and no one came to empty them even though I called the hotel, power went out the second night in we had to fumble in the dark to find breaker boxes, power went out when using hairdryer, a/c units dont work well and are moldy, curtains are falling off the hooks, the floors are gross and the rugs stained, the shower curtain was filthy, the washer spin cycle broke so we couldn't do laundry for the last few days, the Shower drain was ughhh, the bathroom sink upstairs is a slow draining one and needs to be cleaned, no decent mirrors in the house, couches are not whats in the photos and what is there is full of pet hair and we didn't have any pets, curtians are yellowed and look like crap, not all windows have shades, the bathroom one is really sketchy just a blind that is a nightly peep show for the back of the house, heaters are peeling paint badly, the broom at the house is broken with a metal handle beware when using, the vacuum is a 1970s piece of crap that stinks, the house was dusty and the stove burners were beyond helping. We were a family of 8 and stuck once we got there. The house is plenty big but, needs lots of love. The steps are dangerous and move when walked on. The house is falsely advertised on here. No sleep at all due to all the traffic. It was like being on I-95. The town is cute and this house could be so nice with some attention. The Apt on the side thats rented out to someone is really messed up. That was not disclosed until we arrived at the house. The back door doesn't lock correctly, and there is a big pot hole in the driveway. I tore up my car because the apt tenant literally HOGS the whole decent side of the driveway so, we were forced to use the other one. Don't bring a luxury car or a low one. You will regret it. The tv in the master bedroom does not work, 20 percent of lights had no bulbs or ones that don't work. The upstairs bathroom lights next to the mirror are sensitive and if you touch them just right they cut off completely. Beds are old and by tht I men the mattresses. The photos are not up to date at this house at all. The. House is really cool with all the staircases and old floors but, unkept. We were disappointed and disgusted. If you stay here you will only sleep from 10 pm to 3 am when traffic slows enough passing by this house.

The value was great, beds were clean and comfortable, and the shower was modernized but we will not stay here again. We had a few issues upon arriving and calling the hotel got those taken care of with a friendly team, but communication was frustrating as they didn't usually reply via the app. The home is old and has some neat features, but the mustyness was strong, the windows are not all sealed (let in mosquitoes), and we had to walk through wet grass and puddles to come in an unlit (when we arrived) back door propped open with buckets. Overall, the outside is pretty from the front, but having to enter in the dark through the back was not welcoming. The location is close to so much, but, if you plan to have windows open, expect a lot of traffic noise.

Fun old home- built in 1792. Walking distance to restaurants. Four spacious/comfortable bedrooms. Lots of floor creaking which adds to the charm of the old home. Location somewhat noisy (traffic) since it’s at intersection of Routes 10 and 44.

We were so pleasantly surprised to discover that this house was sparkling clean, spacious and everything we needed for a stay for our large family. There are four large bedrooms, plenty of socializing space, ample parking and walking distance to basic amenities like Starbucks, pizza, liquor store and convenience store. The front desk staff who manages this property is cheerful and helpful. This will be our “go-to” place for our large family gatherings. Thank you for being great hosts!

My mother n law and I stayed here mostly for the convenience. I saw this listing on Airbnb and immediately found it so interesting. It was old and appeared to have so much character, which we like. Upon arrival yes, there were two broken panes on the cool old storm door. Upon opening the door it squeaks and its wonderfully eerie. We immediately started exploring and were in awe of how big and roomy it was. There are four very large, well decorated rooms on the second floor. Each bedroom has its own ac unit and extremely comfortable beds (I am very picky on linens and they were the softest along with great pillows, 3 to 4 on each bed). I can’t say enough about the bedrooms, very inviting. The shower had great water pressure and no issues with getting hot water. If you are not looking for an old home with character don’t rent this but if you are you won’t be disappointed. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We had a few miner issues and they dealt with them promptly. Also, there is an amazing restaurant right next door. We ate there all three nights. Two of the nights we got the food to go and at at the kitchen table. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again. We may even make it an annual trip. Thank you for everything.
