We are David and Lenice Hopkins and we are your Airbnb superhosts! David was born/raised in Magee, MS. I was born/raised in Jackson MS, not moving to the country until 2011. I didn't really think I would like living out here in the country, but MAN was I wrong. Our little farm was originally about 170 acres and an operating chicken farm with 8 chicken houses. Approximately 8-10 years ago, we tore the chicken houses down and built a lake. Some maps still show the chicken houses on the property. In 2019, we decided to downsize and sold all but 19 acres to our son. We still have cows in the pasture. We recently lost Peanut and Major. Levi is our new Teddy Roosevelt terrier. We also have a cat named Charlie and chickens. My husband and I love our country life and are happy to share that with you and your family. We love to travel, fish and spend time with each other/family. The best part of Airbnb is the people that we meet, some from various parts of the world and some are more local. We can't wait to meet you!
