Bumble Cottage is the perfect countryside bolthole for a cosy weekend. My friend and I felt right at home and the house had everything we needed. Parking is a bit tight on the narrow streets, but we didn't need to move the car once we found a spot as there's a pub, local shop and some lovely hikes all within easy walking distance. Would definitely go back!

Exceeded expectations and an excellent place to stay. We particularly enjoyed the three reservoirs walk the other side of Holmfirth, visit to Canon Hall Farm with our 9 month-old and Holmfirth Festival on our last day was a lot of fun. Excellent communication throughout. Thank you Maria and Rob!

We enjoyed a very pleasant and comfortable stay in this little cottage. Messages from our host were helpful and we found the kitchen well stocked with catering basics. We were able to park our cars fairly close to the house and found the locals friendly. Luckily we had some decent weather and could enjoy drinks in the garden. We would have dined out in the local restaurant, Sweet Chillies, however it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
