It was exactly what we needed to get away from the city. I wished we could have had a white Christmas but there is always next year. I was so pleased with the location and home. Gave me the homey feeling of New England that I was aiming for. I have never never seen a kitchen so well stocked with all the necessities, it felt like I was in my own kitchen. Besides the few hiccups along the way, Juliann was very helpful. After all was said and done we were NOT ready to leave.
This place is right around the corner from downtown Clarkesville and yet you feel like you’re in the country when you’re there. It is so peaceful! There were huge grassy areas for us to walk our dog and the beds were very comfortable. It’s a lovely place to stay!
Cozy and comfortable farmhouse in a beautiful setting that is also very close to a cute downtown area. The beds were very comfortable and we took advantage of the full kitchen. We also enjoyed watching the chickens and cats outside. Would definitely stay here again!
When we walked in to the home we were greeted by a lovely fire in the fireplace and Christmas carols playing! We were a little later than expected and was grateful that several of the lights were turned on to welcome us! Julie was quick to respond and resolve when we had a few glitches which we appreciated. The property is the best part of the place, at least for us! We loved walking our dogs several times a day. Sat on the side of the pasture hill basking in the sun and waving to those who honked and waved to us. Nice and peaceful. A couple things to note, both bathrooms are within the bedrooms so there is no official shared one for all to use downstairs. The heat could be a bit tricky to get consistent temp throughout. It took us a couple nights. House is super close to downtown and not far from Helen (about 30 minutes). All in al a nice stay with a gracious host!
Fantastic weekend stay! The house was so comfortable and clean. Great location just a few minutes from town.
