Darryl's place is exactly what we saw in the pictures. We had a great time. We wanted to extend our trip it was that great. The kayaks are cherry on the top!
We have been to this cottage many times and every time we are blown away with the scenery and beauty of Harcourt. Darryl is always a polite and respectful host and has always been responsive when messaged. This is a perfect get away if you want to fish, hike or offroad on a four wheeler.
The place was great to stay at. The cottage was cozy and had plenty of things to do in the area. The lake was nice as boats and lifejackets were provided. It also has nice trails nearby in the park, and only an hour away from Algonquin park.
My family and I had a great time at the cottage. Will definitely book again!
This is our fourth stay at this location, we keep coming back because we can not find another cabin that has all that this cabin has to offer at a reasonable price. Its super nice to sit by the fire weather it is outdoors or in the living room fire place. The place was really clean and check in is a breeze. This time we brought our four wheeler with us and we got to explore so much more than we could on foot. The scenery is really breath-taking. Harcourt park has a variety of different types of forests and wetlands to explore. We didn't even cover a fraction of the trails on our four day trip so you will never run out of new places to explore. The people in the park are pretty accepting of short term renters. The trails are really well maintained. You don't have to go far to see the wildlife as chipmunks, blue jays like to come on the porch. The local area has some pretty cool restaurants we really enjoyed the Algonquin Cookhouse the prices where good at the atmosphere was to awesome.
