Fireside Retreat was amazing. This cottage felt very cozy, and the host was a very efficient and thorough communicator for anything we needed. My friends and family had an awesome time and enjoyed all of the activities that were included in the cottage. Thanks again for a great weekend getaway !

The Fireside Retreat was a peaceful place to visit on a quiet lake. It was nice to have water crafts and life jackets available at the waterside. There were also activities inside (darts, ping pong, tv) and out (Corn Hole, ladder ball, fire pit) and the decorative lighting was a nice touch. The kitchen had everything necessary for us. The Queen and King beds were comfy .

Our family (multi-generations, from 8 to 75) all had a great time. Loved the lake and the dock. Comfortable and spacious cottage.

We are a busy working family. We wanted to stay in a place that would make us forget all about the hustle and bustle of the city and Kelly’s place did exactly that. The place is very private, zero noise and light pollution. There’s fishing, kayaking, ping pong, darts, Kitchen is equipped if you like cooking and plenty of places to just sit and relax. Fire place and fire pit. The entire family enjoyed the week. We highly recommend this place.

The house is very good, very spacious. I will separate the review into pros and cons. Pros - 1- very spacious, actually holds 8 people. 2- the kitchen has everything you need, all utensils, coffee machine and strainers are offered. 3- All rooms have ceiling fans making the nights very pleasant, lots of wood for the fireplace and bonfire. 4- The internal environment is very beautiful and the lake too Cons - 1-You will need to bring everything, bedding, towels etc. 2- the host asks that all garbage you have, be taken to a landfill and if the landfill is closed you need to take your garbage away with you. 3- the stairs to the lake get very slippery if rains 4- the sofa in the main living room has a terrible smell of sweat. 5- the barbecue was very dirty and the grill was greasy 6-the host asks you to do a “light cleaning” before you leave. Judging by the state of the house we believe that’s the only cleaning that's been done at all.
