Nestled up on a hill and overlooking Minamkeak Lake, the Eagle's Landing is an affordable, well-appointed, and comfortable studio. Deck overlooking the lake with BBQ, pergola, and privacy fence covered in grape vines, full kitchen and marble tile heated bathroom floor. Please note that I have a German Shepherd on the property. All bark, no bite and he loves attention. Mr. Oso, a.k.a. Mr. Walkenpoo, loves to leave me little gifts in the driveway at times! Watch your step. Enjoy your stay! The Studio was built in 2016. It started off as an empty room with just studs. It has now become a functional and well-appointed studio. One bar fridge and one freezer, inductions plates, convection oven, microwave ,toaster, coffee maker, of course, and all common kitchen gadgets. Open the front door to a new deck with a Pergola covered in grape vines. Your private patio with a hammock and lake views. Guests have commented on how comfortable the bed is (memory foam plus an addition Memory foam pad on top!). A new path is being built right by the studio to access the lake. There are no laundry facilities but Bridgewater has a great laundromat and I can always help you out. The Lake House sits at the end of a dead-end road just 3 km from the highway. Bob & the Boys, the local Farm Market is right at the corner, with fresh local produce from Nova Scotia and crafts. Just 10 minutes away you are in downtown Bridgewater, a mid-size town with all conveniences, including groceries, hardware, banks, hospital etc. On the way you will pass by IndianGarden Farms. Also local produce but the chance to pick strawberries (early July) , raspberries, blueberries, (August), Apples (September). Now for the Beaches. Beaches are within 25 km of the house (30 minutes max). These include Crescent Beach, Bachman's beach (Second Peninsula), Risser's Beach Provincial Park, Hirtle's Beach, White Point, and Summerville Beach. Also about 30 minutes away is Historical Lunenburg with its fabulous restaurants, harbour, waterfront promenade, our infamous Bluenose, a Golf course, shopping, horse and buggy rides, pottery shops, pubs and more. Apart from kicking back and enjoying the Lake, you can see the Oven's Park with its Natural Sea Caves and the thunderous roar of the waves crashing. Indian Falls, is a local watering hole, with a natural swimming pool and its own little waterfall. The lakefront has a leveled sitting area with pea rock on the little beach. A BBQ and coolers are also down there. Please bring your own charcoal! A perfect lake for swimming and fishing. Have a great vacation and enjoy Nova Scotia!!
