Henda was a lovely host who made us feel like we had arrived in a home away from home. She was very responsive and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The location is in the small village of Darse that is adjacent to Villefranche. You can access the marina and a few restaurants that sit below the villa via a staircase but be ready for about 6 flights of stairs. You can also reach Villefranche by walking along the highway for about 10-15 minutes. As others have mentioned, the views from the balcony are truly amazing and memorable. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with a large dining room, small kitchen, sitting area, one larger bedroom with ensuite bath, a small bathroom, and a small second bedroom. If you plan to work remotely, the basic internet in this area (Darse & Villefranche) is very slow (avg 10-20 mbps dwn and less than 6 mbps up). Henda was able to provide a 5G connection that worked well and supported video conferencing.

This is a lovely place to stay, very easy to navigate public transport from. Communication was excellent whenever we needed help.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich toll. Vom Balkon aus hat man eine atemberaubende Sicht. Der Pool ist riesig und bis Nachmittags kann man dort in der Sonne liegen. Man teilt ihn sich mit der Wohnung im Erdgeschoss. Wir hatten ihn fast immer für uns allein. Der Strand ist zu Fuß über eine steile Treppe zu erreichen. Bei Fragen war immer jemand ansprechbar und es gab eine schnelle Antwort. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Wohnung.

Rather small kitchen, but well equiped. A bit outside the village. The balkony with the view over the sea and the pool are beautifull.

We loved this rental for our family of three! Everything was as advertised. The view is spectacular and made us want to sit and stare all day! I would give this place an extra 6th star if the owner would consider adding just a couple barstool-height chairs to the balcony, since when you sit in a normal chair, the lower half of the bay view is partially cut off by the balustrade. It’s such a phenomenal view, so why not make it better? 🙂 We loved the pool, the AC during the month of July, the super high-end and interesting decor, and the ability to walk into town and to the beach. This was a fantastic experience and we’d love to come back. Merci!
