Iceland Laugarvatn Golden Circle new listing July 2017 This location is an excellent choice Útey is located next to Laugarvatn south of Iceland. Laugarvatn is only about 60 min drive from Reykjavik and lies within the Golden Circle a popular tourist route situated near Gullfoss 30min by car , Geysir 25 min, Thingvellir 25min, Skalholt 25 min among other attractions This is a quiet Family resort located away from the main road so you will experience peace and quiet during your stay. The house is with 2 small cosy bedrooms, bedsize 1200mm width eace. In the living room is a sofa which can easily be changed to a double bed and in the guest house is a double bedroom with a secondary WC facilities . In the cottage bathroom we have a shower . We have stored in the guest house 2 mattresses if needed. The property is suitable for up to 6 persons. The living room has comfortable sofa a television and dvd. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, fridge with freezer and a dining table You will also find smaller appliances like toaster, coffee maker, bbq if needed. Linen and towels are provided On the terrace we have big and very comfortable hot tub seated for 8 people heated with geothermal spring water a stunning display of Northern Lights in right season , geothermal heating system all year around for the house. In front of the summerhouse is a lovely 95 m2 patio with outdoor furniture and a hot tub. There is a lawn outside the summerhouse with a playground for children with swings. Laugarvatn the town (population less then 200 ) is just across the lake a few min away by car, there you can find a grocery store, restaurant, ATM, gas station, swimming pool Fontana and more

Véritable havre de paix au milieu de la nature ! Cosy, bien équipé. Très bien chauffé ce qui est très agréable quand vous arrivez ou quand vous avez passé la journée dans le froid. Le hot tub a ravi toute la famille, du plus petit au plus grand 😊. Très bien adapté pour 5 personnes. Très bien situé pour tout ceux qui visiteront principalement le sud et le sud-ouest de l’Islande. Unnur et Petur sont de très bons hôtes, disponibles et compréhensifs. Nous avons tous les 5, adoré cet endroit !

The cottage is located at a perfect place to explore many of the famous sights in Iceland, including the golden cricle. The surroundings are quite rustic, allowing you to sit on the porch and enjoy the sound of the many birds. The cottage itself offers everything you need. The two bedrooms are indeed small (as mentioned), but the living room and the guest house offer enough space (we were a family of five). The smell of the hot water (including all hot water, also the shower) definitely needs getting used to. Proper shopping is best at Sellfoss (Laugarvatn only has a very small supermarket). Do not forget to visit the beautiful Faxafoss at a 30 minute drive, which is (fortunately) overlooked by most tourists. Overall definitely recommended fo a stay in Iceland!

Cottages are located in the vicinity of many important tourist attractions of Iceland. It's a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Very stylish houses. Everything is exactly as in the description. We were very pleased and highly recommended.

Central location to discover all highlights ot the Golden Circle. Calm and spacious surroundings. Cottage is fully equipped for a pleasant stay. Unnur was always at our disposal and helped us if needed.

We were really happy to be at Skáli :) it was a lovely place and a good starting point from where we managed to drive and see most of the beautiful places from Golden circle. Accomodation was above our expectations and the hot tub was great place where we could unwind after long and cold day.
