Really enjoyed our trip to Camber Sands. Clean and nicely decorated. Really nice chalet. Good activities on the resort. The local beach is very beautiful. Will definitely come again.

This is a great place to stay for Camber Sands… we had a lovely stay, shortcut to beach meant it was really easy to get to. The kids loved the ‘splash park’ and playground in the complex too, which was free to use. The kitchen was well equipped and I would be giving the place 5 out of 5 if it wasn’t let down by the very uncomfortable mattress, which meant I had to sleep with the kids for the second night. So worth checking it the host has invested in a decent mattress…

Just returned from a 5 day stay at Lyn's 'Beachcomber' Chalet with my 2 daughters. From booking to arriving was a very smooth process and clear instructions were given along the way. Lyn's communication was excellent and i felt reassured that had i encountered any problems, Lyn would have been easy to get hold of. The Chalet was as described and we all slept well in comfortable beds. The Kitchen facilities were good with plenty of pans and crockery. The shower was electric, surprisingly powerful and didn't lose power when turned hotter like a lot of electric showers do. The local beach (via the shortcut Lyn gives in her instructions) was excellent Walking is no more than 10 mins away and advised to avoid the high car parking charges. All in all we a lovely few days away and I would stay again when in the area. Thanks Lyn!

Nicely decorated and styled, good size for a holiday home. Beds are comfy. Furniture probably needs replacing in places. Kitchen is well stocked. Overall a bit dirty - floors, fridge. Could have been cleaned more thoroughly. On the second day, with heavy rain and wind the chalet roof developed a leak. Lyn was able to find us an alternative chalet on the same site which was actually an upgrade. Location is good for the beach. Shortcut route to the beach is 15 mins walk with 2 small children (which is fine) saves using the main entrance. However it’s not suitable if you like an early evening stroll on the beach as we found the gate locked at 7:55pm. Getting into the resort when you’ve booked through AirBnB and not Parkdean is a little annoying as you have to keep explaining to the security at the barrier why you don’t have a little purple pass. Overall the location is good and close to the beach which is one of the best beaches to visit!

We stayed at the Beachcomber Chalet for a few days in July and it was a treat. The chalet had a cozy and beach-vibe feel and it made for a great base at a busy resort. Whilst everything seemed clean and tidy, there were a few things that looked tired e.g., slightly rusty fridge/freezer, bathroom fixings. That said, everything was working and functioning as it should, which made for an easy and straightforward stay! Lyn was a very speedy and helpful responder on text messages so I was always reassured that she would be at the end of the phone line, if we needed it. She was also flexible with our check-in time, which was handy and much appreciated. Thank you, Lyn!
