Dave was very welcoming and generous with his home, time and local knowledge. He also got me up to speed with the fundamentals of Hockey and Baseball (essential things for someone to know if you're moving to Canada!). The room is quiet and quite compact but the bed is comfortable and if you're a solo traveller with not too much stuff there's more than enough room for you and everything you need. I definitely recommend Dave and his place if you want somewhere that's cosy, well connnected but far enough away from the chaos of the city, quiet and shared with someone who is warm, friendly and will make you feel at home. 👍🏽

great little barebones room to stay in, me and dave were ships in the night and I never saw him in person but he was very responsive to messages and informative. the neighbourhood is great too, close to transit and a big park and some restaurants and coffee as well.
