Refuge from the storm! Amanda rescued us when the freeway closed and we were stranded in the night. She responded to my request to stay right away, even though it was late. She gave us a very warm welcome to her charming historic home in an adorable old gold rush town, despite the late hour. I wish we had been able to spend more time there!

Amanda's home is beautiful, clean (as in "cream carpet with no stains on them" clean) and artfully decorated. From snacks to beverages, we found everything we needed to feel at home and pampered. Amanda really thought of everything. Such a wonderful host. If you like a country, Victorian, B&B style "getaway" - Amanda's home is just perfect. We will be back.

I had an incredible stay in this beautiful historic home. Amanda is the sweetest host and I enjoyed interacting with her. My dog was welcome there & enjoyed playing with her dog. There are no other guests, So I had the entire beautiful porch to myself. We loved sitting on the porch in the morning with our oatmeal and coffee that she provides. There was also fresh fruit, tea, cereal & milk! Rollins Reservoir, the gold mines, and grass Valley are all close by. Gorgeous private bathroom and tub which I enjoyed. Stunning decor. Beautiful relaxing and unique! Hope to meet you again, Amanda.
