Welcome to our cozy little getaway for 2 waiting for you! Our woodsy cottage is just 1 mile from Scotts Flat Lake & 5 miles from Nevada City. This area has so much to offer from lake fun on the boat, paddle board or kayak; to mountain biking, hiking, snow shoeing and more. We are close to many foothill attractions (historical museums/landmarks/boutique shopping/theaters/music) and wine tasting/culinary delights to please the foodies. We look forward to hosting your stay as you explore the area! The best use of the space is room for 2 as this is a studio, however an airbed (not provided) could be used for a child or 3rd person. The space features a queen bed, nightstand, vanity with mirror, small couch and coffee table. Outside your door you can sit and eat/relax under the trees at the bistro table and 2 chairs under solar-powered lights. The bathroom has a sink/vanity and one step up to the toilet + shower stall (no tub), one sink and toilet. We provide towels, body wash, shampoo/conditioner to use for your stay. A closet and bench left of the sink/vanity stores your clothes and luggage. Space under the bed stores luggage as well. The kitchen area is stocked with the basics from a set of (4) plates, bowls, glasses, wine glasses, coffee mugs and silverware. We have pots, pans and bowls for cooking. There is a 2-burner electric cooktop, microwave and toaster/convection oven. There is a small refrigerator and coffeepot. We provide coffee and basic spices, oil and a snack basket.
