Really lovely place to stay if you want to get away from it all. Catherine's Welcome 'Goodies' Pack was the best I've ever experienced, lovely locally sourced items, delicious, very thoughtful.

This was our second stay and it was again fantastic. Exceptional Barn, very luxurious, great hot tub, wonderful view, magical island and with Catherine a charming and loving hostess. We will come again. Walter & Irene

Really enjoyed our stay in Lewis. The Barn was amazing and as others have said, the photos don’t do it justice. Great views from the hot tub and The Barn was a very comfortable base for exploring Lewis and Harris. Be aware that if you arrive on Sunday that the big Tesco in Stornoway is closed so best to bring some food with you. However, you will not starve as the welcome hamper was very generous, the best we’ve had at any Air BnB, full to the brim with a lovely selection of goodies. Thank you so much!

Besides the beautiful surroundings and thoughtfully decorated home, Catherine is a very generous host. She provided everything one could possibly need then some: bacon, sausages, black pudding, eggs, milk, and cheese in fridge, and a remarkable hamper of other goodies, including tea, coffee, bread, pancakes, all kinds of sweets, crisps, a bottle of Prosecco and more! The house is very well designed and a joy to be in, especially when cold and rainy, but also during sunsets. Catherine is also friendly and nice, and there are 3 cats who wander about the property, if you're into cats. if you are the kind of person who likes to put their clothes away, the place is too small for that, so you'll be living out of your suitcase, which you'll to put in living room or the Conservatory, though. it's not a criticism, but a fact. you'll spend so much time in the Conservatory or outdoors, so you don't notice it. If you plan to spend most of your time on Harris, it's pretty far.
