We went in with average expectations from this place, but Nilgiris Calling, and it's hosts made us fall in love with the place. This is one of the few properties where we're convinced that we've made new friends at. Stephen and Anupa Maam were the most warm and welcoming hosts we could ever wish for. Their place is tastefully done up with the most minor details thought of. You'll have separate access to a separate house on their property that can accommodate 8 people comfortably. The food is home cooked and was more than enuf for us four hungry guys. Well priced. The views are out of this world. Don't forget to walk through the tea plantations in the mornings, you'll get streams where you can dip your feet in, and work up an appetite for the hearty breakfast that will come your way. We returned home feeling well cared for, just as we would after a stay at a warm relatives place. Which means a lot. I'll surely return.

Great stay with a beautiful view giving peaceful vibes. Comfortable huge space, beds and balcony, perhaps the best place in Kotagiri for upto a week's stay. Tasty traditional food available on requirement. Preferably travel by own vehicle.

I stayed here with my husband and son for 5 days. The place is gorgeous. The view from the deck is mindblowing. The family is so warm and friendly. Meal times were fun; chatting with them and getting to know them. Anupa is an awesome cook and she made new and interesting things for every meal. It was lovely.

This is a beautiful place to stay, calm, and relaxing. It is little tricky to reach the place, as there is an 800 m kacha road, but it is worth it once you reach there. The hosts are warm and friendly. Food they offer is fine and peaceful on the tummy, and there are not many options around. There is a kitchen woth an induction stove and you can plan some quick menu if you arr an enthusiastic cook. Plan to spend atleast half day to enjoy the scenic view from the villa. Just enjoy the bliss with nature.
