We loved this place! Remote and quiet but close to what we wanted and easy to find! If you want a brand new shiny place, this ain’t it! But a cozy, well equipped quiet spot near the creeper trail, great hikes and Watauga lake… check! My kids loved riding their balance bikes around the circle drive without any worries of cars and the Christmas tree farm! Parents loved the hot tub post ride and hike! Did I see a spider? Yes. It’s the woods. Know what you’re getting and it’s wonderful! Comfy beds, great water pressure, and towels that don’t feel like sandpaper! Book it and enjoy!

We love the private seclusion. Leon is very accommodating and friendly. The hot tub is our favorite late night chill in the wooded area!

The price was right for the area we wanted to be in and the hot tub is a great perk! The kitchen on the other hand was very diasappointing. Several of the dishes we pulled out of the cabinets were dirty with a couple having mold in them. The place needs some TLC but the area is AMAZING for hiking.

We had a great time and had everything we needed. It is out in the country so no cell service and during a storm, DirectTV was down, which was good and gave us time to play games with the kids. The driveway is bumpy where rain has washed the gravel away, a higher vehicle is best. We were in a Dodge Charger and the bottom drug a good bit but we were able to get in and out. I love the private, country area. The house itself had everything we needed to make meals and cook, including towels for the hot tub. It is a very large hot tub which was great. The outside of the house needs some work but the inside looks great and you can tell they have been doing upkeep. We enjoyed our time!
