We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Walt's home. It was a clean and comfortable home, room, and bathroom, and was well situated for exploring many attractions of Charleston. We plan to stay with Walt again on future visits to Charleston.

Walt was a welcoming host with a wealth of information about Charleston. He sent me many links to places I had expressed interest in (we came to learn about the Gullah Geechee people and the city's slavery history).  Helpful, interesting to talk to, extremely attentive, thoughtful. When I expressed interest in trying boiled peanuts, he came home with some; knowing that we'd traveled many days prior to our stay, he offered us use of his washer and dryer.  He oriented us with maps and made great recommendations (best rooftop views, best coconut cake, tours, architecture, and much more). The space is extremely comfortable and very clean. The bedroom and bathroom are separate areas of the house from where Walt stays; he was respectful of our privacy. He thinks carefully about the needs of guests so he can be fully prepared to address reasonable needs and expectations. I can't believe we were lucky enough to get to stay with Walt; he made our Charleston experience completely wonderful.

Really amazing stay at Walt’s! His home and the area he lives are really charming and he couldn’t have been an easier host to communicate with. Would absolutely recommend staying with him - it was a pleasure and if we come back I will definitely be thinking of staying again with him! Thanks again Walt
