The house was not like the picture, it was a lot smaller than the pictures made it seem. Post said lake access but it did not have lake access. There were spider webs in the house, the top floor had a musky smell. Most outlets didn’t work, the restroom outlets did not work. The shower door was broken which I saw was already posted in a previous review. The kitchen stove had some burners that wouldn’t work well and the door leading to the balcony doesn’t close like it’s suppose to: overall we made the best of the situation but If I would have known the kind of place this was I would have def used my money elsewhere.

Our stay was quite beautiful and peaceful. We did have to deal with large carpenter ants through out the house, and we found a dead bat in one of the drains. We could not get ahold of anyone to let them know about the dead bat. It was automatic email replies to have us call the cops. They didn’t let us check in until 4 pm on Friday and made us check out at 10 am on Sunday, and to add late check out if available is a fee which seems ridiculous as you pay for 3 days and only stay for 2 days. It also states beach access and that is incorrect. You can walk down a hill to docks, but it is all private docks, and we had no instruction if we had access to any of them. Other than that it was short drive to restaurants, grocery stores, and kings beach. The house was beautiful especially the master bedroom. A bit odd that the hot tub is in the front of the house, but we still enjoyed it and the view of the stars every night.

Great place to stay for large groups. 4 bedrooms is hard to come by in Tahoe.

The two things that made our decision to rent was that it had a jacuzzi and a 3rd bathroom. We were visiting for a wedding and needed space for our kids/teens to get ready as well as all adults. We ended up buddying up in bathrooms which is exactly what we were trying to avoid. The other part was the jacuzzi which was still filtering and dirty (not as bad) after maintenance came. One of the bathrooms has a broken shower door and the ledge of the shower is filthy, the appliances worked poorly and we found someone's wallet in the couch. I will also point out from a safety stand point that we couldnt allow out littles to use to bunk as the mattress was taller then the railing. This rental has potential but its 100% not up to par as is.

Good stay, it’s a little tight in the entry way if you have big bags and kitchen is on second floor. Does not have a lake view. Hot tub was very nice. Fireplace was not usable. Quiet area but walking to someone is difficult due to the busy road down the street no fault to the place.
