A lot of care went into making the apartment comfortable and attractive. It had windows all around and a lovely breeze. The neighborhood is quiet and great for walking. Appreciated the excellent lighting and availability of air conditioning. Would highly recommend Helen’s place for a long or short stay.
Helen”s place was wonderful! The neighborhood and security were ideal for a single traveler-with a locked gate to the residence. The layout was great and spacious for 1-2 guests. Plenty of fans and windows for sleeping peacefully too! Never needed the AC although it is available. As for the location, it was truly perfect if your goal is to be on the island without being in the middle of tourism. Lots of wonderful hiking-all within 20-40 minutes of this apartment, and two of the most beautiful beaches-Kailua and Waimanalo-within a 15 minute drive. Grocery stores are plentiful in Kailua-if you prefer to cook in the well stocked kitchen vs eat out every night. Thanks for a great stay!
Our one month stay in the apartment was great, Helen was very responsive with communications the place was tastefully decorated and efficient designed. It had excellent ventilation with cross ventilation in every room with many windows. The neighborhood was peaceful and had magnificent views of the mountains. It was awesome for morning walks. I’m sure we will miss it. Kailua is our favorite and best town with 2 of the most beautiful beaches in the island.
my wife and I stayed here for a month while we were looking for a long term rental. The place was very clean and very comfortable! Great air BNB! Would 100% recommend!
The place was as described. They clearly put a lot of thought and effort into making everything great for a temporary place to live. Directions were completely accurate. Easy to check in with the codes prided. Ac worked great. Had a nice supply of pans and plates etc. Love the shower. Washer and dryer worked well. Bed was comfortable. Host was super friendly. Great air b and b!
