As soon as I saw the pictures and the good comments about this place, I decided to book it. I can say now that I made the best decision because not only this place was awesome, but also Alice. There are people who go an extra mile and then there is Alice who went extra miles and beyond. Before I arrived there, she told me I needed a 4WD vehicle because there was some snow, but when I picked up my rental car, the company didn’t want to give me a 4WD arguing I would be fine with a small vehicle. It was my first time in Aspen and in the snow so I didn’t know much. As soon as I was getting close to that place I noticed that vehicle was not good, but Alice helped me drive it up to the house. She even shoveled the ice so I could be able to drive away. Alice also helped me get a new vehicle at a very low price. I’ll never forget it because she made my trip easier, so I could focus on enjoying my trip. Trust me, you cannot be in better hands, I want to go back already!

Alice has been wonderful! I rented a room prior to moving into an apartment in Basalt and she has been the friendliest welcome to the neighborhood. The house is large with lots of light and plenty of space, great kitchen and close to some hikes off of the Frying Pan. She has been very communicative and knowledgeable about the Valley. I will definitely recommend her home to my family and friends when they come visit.

Alice is absolutely a Super host! From the time of booking she was very responsive and cooperative. She sent me detailed instructions with pictures on how to reach her place before I drove there. Unfortunately, I got stuck in traffic and it got very late and dark by the time I drove to Basalt. I reached out to her over the phone and she helped guide me and remained on call until I reached her place safely. She was very gracious, provided tons of recommendations on local trails, activities and restaurants. I was able to dine at one of the restaurants that she recommended and loved it. The place was immaculate and much prettier than in the pictures! She let me have privacy during my stay and made sure I was comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again and plan to bring my family and friends along the next time!

We had a wonderful time at Alices! It was everything we could expect and more! Her home was very comfortable and the location was great! Alice was a great host! We absolutely loved the area! i highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Alice's place and would highly recommend staying there. The location of her home is absolutely stunning and the room we stayed in was massive and felt like a large hotel suite. Alice even gives you access to the whole house and the hot tub on site. Additionally, she provides muffins and chips to snack on. Finally, she provides all sorts of helpful information for exploring the area. Alice's home is in a super convenient location too. It's only a 10-minute drive to the town of Basalt, which has lots of great restaurants, and a 30-minute drive to Aspen. We could not recommend her place more highly and the value is excellent!
