Tucked deep inside a windy road lays this beautiful hidden gem. I’d recommend arriving during daylight as the road can be tricky in the dark, especially during rainy conditions. It was chilly but the heat warmed the place up very well. Beautiful surroundings of giant redwood trees and quiet neighbors. We were a short drive to Point Lobos which was our main point of interest. Loved the cute kitchen with all the supplies needed for cooking. Especially important when you’re far away from grocery stores or restaurants. Lots of little board games and TV was great for a rainy day evening. This was our first visit to Big Sur and we enjoyed this as our first experience!
This was a birthday trip for my husband. He chose this cabin & location. His best choice and pick, ever, thus far, no exaggeration whatsoever. We were nestled in the woods, hugged and completely surrounded by gorgeous redwood trees with peaceful sounds of a running stream. This home had windows, sliding doors, and skylights all around it, a must have for this location. It was truly serene, surreal and gorgeous. We were incredibly comfortable in the home. We kept looking out the windows and kept falling more in love as we did. We were sad to leave. The soul truly needs this time with nature 🫶🏼. Thank you.
The AirBnB is incredibly unique. Nestled in the middle of the woods, and yet has the amenities of a top AirBnB you could find in bigger cities. Highly recommended. My only advice is to be careful of cellphone reception (you won’t have any!). And watch out for weather around the area, since access to the AirBnB requires passing through Highway 1, which can be prone to extreme weather events.
Beautiful place, artfully decorated in the middle of woods. There is a brook next to the house and the sound of water creates a lovely zen feeling. Alyssa was very responsive and kind.
Alyssa’s place was absolutely beautiful in a stunning serene setting. Super comfortable, beautifully decorated with well stocked kitchen. Had everything we needed. Alyssa was super responsive & helpful with any questions. If you’re looking for a Big Sur getaway this is the place! Definitely look forward to returning! 10/10 !
